Maki has had the pleasure and honour to share her dance with audiences around the world. She has graced stages in cities such as Vancouver, Toronto, New York, L.A., Seattle, Bali, Jakarta, Tokyo, Kyoto and Hanoi. Maki has been a featured performer in The International Bellydance Conference of Canada, two tours with Jillina’s Bellydance Evolution, New York Theatrical Bellydance Conference, Raks by the SEA, Tamalyn Dallal’s Orientalia Festival, the Powell Street Festival and many more wonderful shows and events. Maki was a producer of Safar Middle Eastern Dance and Music Conference, the first of its kind in BC, which brought together artists from across Canada, the US, France, Japan and Brazil. She has been invited to teach workshops in the US, Indonesia, Vietnam and Japan. Maki was also a performer in the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony, a competitive Rhythmic Gymnast and has appeared in film and tv.
