Known for her fun classes, Maki blends Egyptian style Raks Sharki (bellydance) with a modern flair. Being knowledgeable in the various styles of Middle Eastern Dance and culture allows her to present this style with respect and authenticity. Maki's students not only learn dance movements but also a little bit of the culture and history of the dance.

Exciting news - Maki is going back to school for her Masters program! She will be focused on her studies and will be taking time off from teaching. Dinah and Lana, two excellent instructors, will be teaching Noor classes in Vancouver.

Class sizes will be limited to encourage social distancing and we will be asking all students to wear masks in class and to follow Dance Centre COVID protocols.
These courses will be taught by Lana. Each level will get a few weeks with each instructor. You will learn 1 choreography per session. We will not be having a performance this session due to the COVID situation.
